We have left behind D-G and the burning wrecks of the doomed Providence capital fleet. Suffering from massive blackouts on their command systems the pilots never stood a chance when they reentered the field at various gates.

With D-G secured -A- (AAA) wanted to secure a deal with CVA and even offered to give back the D-G system. The outcry from the thousand U’K pilots could be heard miles away.

Why was CVA being offered that system back we had fought for? Before anything could develop of it CVA threw the offer back in the face of AAA.

They did not take this well and less than 12 hours after the refusal a war council was called.
In the meantime things were also developing fast on the providence side. LFA, the main aggressors wanted to take the offer from AAA and a fall out was the result with CVA showing LFA the door. 1200 potential enemy pilots whipped of the board in one swift stroke. With renewed resolve D-G came under pressure but the enemy again showed up in underpowered Drakes and Harbingers. The enemy was dusted of the shoulder and a new CTA was called.

The Ushra’Khan ships were gathered around the AAA fleet and the titan. We knew there was going to be battle but did not know the system and security had been dead tight.

“Beacon lighted, connect with Titan jumpbridge” Sounded the order.

The collective gasp was astounding. The Ushra’Khan fleet almost missed the portal timer as the ships locked the destination 9UY.

“JUMP JUMP JUMP” bellowed the FC and the fleet set in motion.

The system of 9UY has a significant history to Ushra’Khan and the significance will not be lost on CVA if U’K takes this system back. Many of the current illiterate dwellers in providence see Ushra’Khan as only a bunch of terrorists that are trying to destroy their living. The truth is, as often a more colourfull picture.

5 Years ago CVA proclaimed Operation Deliverance and entered Providence and in response to the expansion of the Slavers Ushra’Khan moved into 9UY and erected the station that today still stands and of which the fight over is not at an end. Many think we come there to harass but they are actually becoming a part of a struggle that has lasted for 5 years by being in 9UY and providence in general.
Long ago the fight involved only Minmatar vs Amarr [OOC comment: only roleplayers took part in the fight until CVA started taking in non RP’ers to bolster their forces at wich point U’K lost the fight. Short version] but eventually the fight escalated to involve Gallente and Caldari pilots as well  dragging more and more into the fight. The main stay of a fleet at that point was cruisers and a handful of battleships could turn the tide of a battle. I think it is important to the many who live in providence that they live in space that was once occupied by Ushra’Khan and that the space to this day is still part of an ongoing fight where they have chosen to contribute to the CVA side simply by their presence and them adding to the CVA coffers.

For once the CVA FC did a smart thing when the combined AAA and U’K jumped into 9UY. They sent their fleet to HED and D-G and dropped SBU’s in order to draw our fleet away from 9UY. This worked perfectly and our fleet had to withdraw in haste, but no longer than it took to kill the SBU’s in both system and back to 9UY just in time to see our capital fleet reinforce the station.
We now float at our starbase with our breath held back waiting for the Providence response.
