Having left the wreck of the Thanatos behind me I wondered about the set-up of it from the concord loadout.

No less than Amarr Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane x 3 and a True Sansha Capacitor Power Relay made up it’s basic armor modules along with the damage control and capial armor repair unit. It is however normal go on a spending trip when you deal with your carrier.

Later we killed the Drake and the Brutix, but they were not fitted with these wonderous modules that are so priced when they can be salvaged from the wreck of the opponent.

The next day  I hung around the KW-I6T system to see what SSI would be doing today. They undocked a Maelstrom and a Hyperion and kept very close to the station in case my Wolf would come crashing down on them, gunz blazing and all. I was alone in the system and did some fly by’s that triggered their primal instincts. The Hyperion set his drones on me and I got the attention of 5 buzzing drones. I killed 3 before he called them back.

Out came 5 warrior drones. I did not know a Hyperion could hold that many drones, but being Gallente design I cant hardly say Im surprised. They insta poped under my 200 mm auto cannons and only 1 made it back. After that show the two battleships docked up. I felt quite good that I now knew they would attack me and that would be to my advantage later. Was that a Stealth bomber that also had taken the oppertunity to shoot at me while I was engaged by drones?

3 Neutral Stealthbombers entered the system briefly and left again before I could land on them, as they had parked 40 clicks of the station directly in line from the gates.

Dante Karaal of Sarz’na Khumatari entered the system in his drake and as he landed on the station the two battleships undocked again. He put some distance bewteen him and the enemy and sat there for a while. I told him about the Stealthbomber and we chatted away.

Over the voicecom we could hear distant battle as the Ushra’Khan main fleet made short process of a POS some 7 jumps away. By the sound of it the POS was going down and the fleet was mopping up.

I hailed them and informed we had agressive hostiles that might be caught of guard.

The FC noted it and went about the final arrangements of bringing the fleet home. Well arrived home and in new fast ships the fleet set out once more, this time heading for KW-I6T.

Dante and I had entertained the hostiles for almost an hour and they were growing bolder.

Kelban Kevar even gave some advise in the local system channel on how to fit drakes and claimed that his knowledge came from some obscure Empire program called a fitting tool. I corrected a few mistakes of his and in general SSI was not very happy about it. He challenged us a few times over the local coms channel and taunted us.

It was time for release of all that hostility, we needed a purge. Dante brought his Hurricane around and enganged the Hyperion which promtly spat out new and shiney drones. I circled once till Dante said he had agression and went into a short warp from my position 250 clicks above the station ad landed on the top of the Hyperion. I killed two of his drones as they were tearing into the armor of Dante, engaged the warp scarmbler and from there on it went fast.

The fleet which had made its way up, had been waiting for this moment on the gate leading to the system. They jumped in and in seconds the proud Hyperion battleship looked like an angry hornets nest. Drones and ships spewing slugs and plasma at the ship.

I was quite surprised that he went down as fast as he did. The Hyperion is not a ship I know much about but it does have a reputation for a massive repairing ability or carrying armor on the side of the hysterical.

Little did I know that this beast, piloted by Kelban Kevar, was set up in a way I never imagined possible.

I pulled this out of the concord logs later that night.

The lower module slots were filled to the brim valuable stuff while the mid slots were filled with shield modules, making it what is refered to as a dual tank.

Low slots showed the below modules while the upgrade points was filled with support for the shields.

- True Sansha Large Armor Repairer
- Centii C-Type Magnetic Plating
- Dark Blood Energized Thermic Membrane

I asked if anyone wanted the items and was awarded with the loot by the fleet commander. Unfortunately the Large armor repair did not survive.

However I am begining to see a pattern in the ships they loose on a regular basis. I quickly called up their recent losses to check.

This Vengeance was flown by TrickyChrono also of SSI.

Yes, those modules are 3 x Amarr Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membranes.

And these modules are not uncommonly found on their ships. I am a seasoned pilot, or consider my self as such, but I sure cant afford such expensive toys.

1 of those Amarr Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membranes could pay for my Wolf including modules.

This deimos was flown by Kelban.

Note the Centii C-Type Reactive Plating, but why miss out of an extra turret and what is the shield module doing there ?

I guess Kelban has a thing for shield tanking armor repairing ships.

Finally this was the readout on an Armageddon class Battleships, loaded up with large auto cannons and a Dark Blood Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane.

Im not going to judge anyone but do please note the lack of a yellow halo around the weapons that indicate that they are not of the new tech II version. It seems to me their pilots should spend more time in smaller and less expensive ships and learn the ropes. Some of these pilots are almost fresh out of the State War Accadamy.

All this has confirmed to me that KW-I6T will and must fall !!! We cannot allow slavers to hold such a system as there surely is a gold pot in that system. For now I will let SSI dig up the gold and then we will simply have to redistribute the valuables.

[OOC] I have gotten a few remarks on the gold in my post and to clarify I dont think SSI are buying illegal ISK, I just think they may be overspending on their ships for little actual value. I have suggested they might make a forum and make their older playerbase share experience with the younger ones.

OwnYourGame is an ISK seller and often you will find their spam in the local channels in game. Now a danish ISK buyer has taken his purchase to court as he claims that he did not recieve his ISK.

Through PayPal he had purchased ISK for the value of 100.000 DKK or approx 13.500 Euro over a period of 3 months. This is a huge sum of money and speak volumes of what people invest in this game. That aside spending money over a 3 month period and not getting the ISK should have warned him the first time he did nto get the ISK, or as I believe the case is, he did indeed get the ISK but CCP has promtly taken it away from him.

“Der var tale om manglende levering af varer i form af virtuelle ydelser, som køberen havde betalt og bestilt hos spilfirmaet OwnYourGame til levering i internetspillet EVEonline. Betalingen var foregået ved brug af køberens VISA/Dankort gennem PayPal, der er udbyder af og formidler betalinger med elektroniske penge. De virtuelle ydelser, som havde en samlet værdi af ca.100.000 kr., var købt over en periode på ca. 3 måneder ad flere omgange.”

The ruling is that the banks are NOT responsible for purchaes done through PayPal to a third party.

This brings forth a number of points one of which is that using PayPal is not a guaranteed transaction under danish law which makes perfectly sence, but which should warn all users of PayPal that you should be ready to part with whatever money you use in PayPal related transactions.

What is even more important, from a gaming perspective, is that if you buy ISK you will risk loosing your money. This must not come as a surprise. ISK buyers buy electronic items of a company that deliberate break the EULA of another company and expect these companies to act honestly ?

The conclusion must be: DONT BUY ISK !!!

I met Zoolkhan at a low sec station. Brutor males make an impression. With Ombey next to him they were towering over me. Luckily size does not matter when you are in a POD.

Negotiations were short and conclusive which fits with the nature of the Matar people. Straight to business and no detours. I like that. Yes, they could allow a mercenary in their midst that came recommended. Price was another matter entirely. Minmatar ain’t a rich people and are mainly kept in the trade loop by the Gallente who buys their goods at fixed prices.

Being rebels they have even less money to throw around and most of the money are made on illegal trades such as drugs and weapons.

Anyway, agreement was reached and I was now officially part of the minmatar rebellion.

I cleared the logistics over a week jumping through no less than 4 low security systems.Ombey helped me with the final jump to my new home. I arrived in style, in my newest addition to the ship gallery. The Wolf. A true beast that can dish out ammo slugs at an alarming rate while holding the enemy down and disabling micro warp drives.

Ombey and I took it out for a spin but as fortune would have it we ran into another gang consisting of amarr loyalists. I was at the very edge of the interdictor warp disruption bubble and was pretty sure I could make it. I hit the afterburner and my Wolf made it out but Ombey had to bite the dust.

I was chased for a short while in the system of CB4-Q2 but eventualy they gave up. I had to power down my ship at a spot in space as a hostile fleet was reported to hold a star gate I had to go through on the way back.

The wolf came to life with a slow burst of the engines. All lit up green and the ship reported itself ready for another day. KW was still reported full of hostiles and I considered taking the long way around through a region called Providence that showed almost no activity. To hell with it I though to my self and jumped into EX-0LQ.

The scanner screamed at once and reported 5 unknown hostile ships in the system. I took the Wolf to an asteroid belt close to the gate leading to KW-I6T and did a quick scan. Drake, Rapier, Crow, Sabre and a Heretic.

Ill be damned… Almost the very same gang that attacked me and Ombey last night.

I hung around for a minute and considered my options. A scam was what was needed. I warped to the gate at a distance of 250 km and the crow at once turned and approached me while the rest of the gang aligned towards their prey.

Ive never actually executed this kind of maneuver but seen Eddz implement it every now and then. The chase was on.

I jerked the ship around, though I had plenty of time before the crow would be even remotely close and warped to the gate leading to CB4-Q2. On the scanner I could see the crow had followed me into warp a few seconds after. He landed at the gate as I jumped. I was pretty sure that I would have time on the other side to warp out but all of a sudden I wasn’t so sure this was such good an idea.

I engaged the warpdrive on the other side and warped towards a gate leading out of the system.

As I entered warp the rest of the gang jumped in to the system and they at once engaged their own warp drives. My warp was however not very long. Some 700 km off the gate I stopped at a spot I had prepared the other night. The enemy gave chase towards the exit of the system while I doubled back and jumped out of system the very way I had just entered.

Well back in EX-0LQ I was VERY satisfied with myself. I called up on the alliance intercom to know how the situation was in KW-I6T. It was reported clear with 4 docked hostiles and a single somewhere outside. I jumped in and was met by Maggot of the Ushra’Khan. We talked briefly and I was not late to let him know about my little manoeuvre. Sadly he was unimpressed and he continued north.

I hung by the EX-0LQ gate in KW-I6T as Paddington of Sarz’na Khumatari jumped into the system. He informed me that he was going to place a bubble on the line from the two gates to the newly erected station in that system. I hit a scan and reported that I had a Thanatos on scan from the gate and that made all hostiles accounted for.

I had to power down the ship and run a quick diagnostics.

As the ship and the sensors came back to life 5 minutes later, so did the voice coms. Paddington had been joined by Conlin on the duty of disrupting the logistical lines in the system and there was something very wrong.

Conlin:”Holding him, point stable, taking heavy fire from figh..grzz..fzz”

Ohh I thought to myself, there is a fight at  the station. I reported in that I was available and called for a fleet invitation. I was ignored…

“Structure compromised. Need to warp the fuck out now ! Take the point.” Conlin called into the voice coms. Paddinton confirmed that he had point.

Paddinton:”Fighters are engaging need back up NOW!” The distress signal went out.

Fighters ??? A carrier ??? Two man engaging a carrier with 4 more hostiles in…  ohh my… 6 hostiles in station by now.

I called again and was told they were buzy keeping them self alive but if I warped to the station at 100 km from my current location I would be in the fight.

As I came out of warp I took in the field of battle. A hyperion, Drake and a Stabber was at the station some 80 km away from the carrier.

Paddintons ship was in a miserable state and Conlin was not ready to enter the fight again.

Enter the Wolf ! I smiled to myself.

Ducking the fighters I quickly closed the distance. The Wolf is made for a specific type of combat but that does not include a fully fitted carrier with energy neutralizers and smartbombs. I called that I had the short range micro warp disabling version of the warp disruptor.

“He aint got no Neutralizers!”, Conlin called back.

I called the point the second I got confirmation that his warpcore was utter disabled and Paddington warped out.

All of a sudden I got the full attention of some 6 Fighters, but my wolfs maneuverability made it hard for the Fighters to track it. Laying a low orbit of 5000 meters around the Thanatos, my 200 mm autocannons opened fire on the pursuing Fighters.

Conlin came back and entered the fight again and the Fighters were called off me to chase Conlin off. We quickly made short work of two Fighters that exploded some 7.000 meters from me in a silent explosion. Paddinton came back and entered the fray once more and we were able to kill 4 more Fighters before the Carrier pilot called the rest back.

Out came medium combat drones and I noticed that the Stabber on the station was now moving. I alerted Paddinton who told me to hold off for now till they had point on the Thanatos again. Approx 10 secunds later Paddinton told me to engage the Staber. He came in hot at around 1800 km/sec as I calculated an interception vector. Paddington had already dispatched drones to deal with him but he was too fast fro the heavy drones. Point I called and the Stabbber had his micro warpdrive disabled and came down to a satisfying 300 m/sec that allowed my auto cannons and Paddingtons Ogres to track him.

Conlin and Paddinton had in the mean time gotten hold of Ushra’Khan command and called in the trapped Thanatos and the Ushra’Khan fighters were heading the call.

Slowly the system status showed increasing numbers of friendly pilots. Battle cruisers joined the battle and that spoke the end of the Thanatos that entered a final futile struggle for its life.

The hostile Hyperion and Drake outside the station was joined by an Abaddon, but all they could do was watch hopelessly as two Falcons perma jammed their targeting systems.

Reports ticked in that there was a hostile fleet inbound that were send to save the Thanatos. We on the other hand had called in support from Against All Authorities. By chance the two fleets met both on their way to respectively kill and save the Thanatos. The result was a clear win for AAA, though I am still unclear about if the inbound fleet were Rebellion Alliance or Paxton Federation both of which got a rough handling around the same time.

The Thanatos inevitably met its doom.

While the pilots of Ushra’Khan screamed for blood and howled at getting the final report that confirmed that the pilot had landed the killing blow, my guns ran out of ammunition. Almost 900 Barrage S and 700 Republic EMP S was used in the engagement.

Comparing the time that the Stabber was killed with the time the Carrier was destroyed one can see that 20 minutes of fighting had elapsed and before that almost the same.

I got the honor of dispatching the POD of the Thanatos pilot to his nearest cloning facility.

Just before I blew him up he saluted our small fleet and gave a “GF” in local.

An industrial was called up as noone had even considered that the Carrier contained anything but regular modules. We took up position on the gate to cover the incomming industrial and some stayed back to protect the loot, which to out surprise SSI did not blow up.

A small gang just doing a roam payed with a Recon Ship and ran off.

The loot got safely back to our main base in F4R2-Q and there was much bravado on the coms.

I hung out with Ombey and some other from the alliance at the hostile station where we found out that we could dock… They have since corrected that mistake. However a Drake and a Brutix just had to play with us and was dispatched in due course. I’m not quite sure what the gesture was about but we thanked them for the modules we got of their ships.

Exhausted by the combat I powered down safe and sound at a spot in the system ready for whatever tomorrow will bring. Which reminds me I have to get back to the Warchest with the loot I have in my cargo hold. Mostly drones and such, but none the less valuable stuff that will be sold and pay my mercenary salary which I believe I have earned.

I called up Ombey and it seems he has gotten himself into the freedom fighting so close to the hearth of every Matar. He hinted that his corporation was in need of experienced pilots to take part in covert operations and raids.

I made a few checks and it seems that White Core is in good standing with Mirkur Draug’Tyr (ohh these exotic Minmatar names). This mean joining up will provide a multitude of benefits.

1) I get back to the south where I can hunt Sansha’s which by far is my favorite bounty prey.

2) I can get back in my Buzzard, scan ships down, gather intelligence and be a general nuisance.

3) I can hook up with Qrell, who for some reason has gotten him self involved in the Minmatar cause on the Minmatar side. Being Qrell I can’t say I’m surprised. I remember with fondness when I got him his first Abaddon, which he promtly 3 days later lost to a raid party not even fully fitted, back when we both were in FM-C.

4) I will have the honor and priviledge of flying with Ombey again. Who knows what our combined Vagabonds damage output can wreck of havoc…

I will have to hit up the leader of this corporation, a fellow named Zoolkhan (ohh again these exotic Minmatar names).

Juturna’s engines are ready, my ships are being gatered and all I have to do is plot a course if this talk goes according to plan. I belive I can be down south by the start of next week if all goes well.

How will the Minmatar freedom fighters take to having a mercenary in their midst…

I always use one of Ombeys maps, next to the computer for easy reference or have the pdf open in the background for when I navigate the different regions.

Remember to update your 2D map !

I will see if I can gather different navigational links in one post and comment on thier strength and weaknesses.

The pictures: Walking in stations

It is nothing short of amazing. I am however not sure this is where EvE should be heading.

The avatars will take a great deal of the focus from the actual spaceship game. Also there is a lot of sexual undertones that is part of the EvE universe, but I don’t think it should be played out. At least not that explicit. I believe we will see a lot of new “players” that like to play “Dress up EvE”.

Basically it is the same that Second Life suffered from. It went from a meeting platform where you could walk around and enjoy a chat to a place where people in anonymity could live out their fantasies. Probably a great business but not one I condone.

CCP will have to do a delicate dance to make this work, not just from a graphical perspective but from a “this is a game, not a dress up club” perspective as well.

When all that is said, who else want to see some more of the girls turn around ?

- I sure do, but on the other hand, where does that take me and make me ?

- Is the innocence of gaming over ?

Lately I have been extremely pleased with my new little bird the Ishkur. It handles well, tanks well and deal damage to unsuspecting ships in an inferno of drones and blaster slugs.

Ive been patrolling the same systems and beholding the same gate over and over. Ive found this specific spot, where the sun plays under a nearby station, that I enjoy.

A decision has been reached. I will leave the Ore Mongers behind me. They should not harbor a discontent corporate member and in all fairness have been good corp mates though the period I have been in Ore Mongers. The period have been one in turmoil due to moving to Venal only to move back to unregulated low security space and much time has been spend moving back and forth. Not the ideal time to take in new people, but they did not plan for this.

The choise was made and I promtly send my CEO a note of resignation as there were no need to hold it up. He was a bit baffled by my sudden resignation but took it cool and wished me luck in my future endavors.

A mercenary is what I over time have become and what I am, and although some do not think piracy a proffession unrelated to my own it is by far not the same . A mercenary sells his service to the highest bidder and often fight against the odds, where pirates chose targets of opertunity and prey on the weak. Not an all fair comparison as I also know pirates that fight against overwhelming odds. It is however time to face this fact that I am a mercenary and not a pirate.

But how does one go about offering the service of a single pilot?

I pondered this and other questions as I loaded up my trusty old megathron that now is fitted with close range and high damage blasters. Huge things that can propel the munition a short distance but at extreme velocity. Coupled with an extreme double repairing ability it is a monster to be reckoned with.

I had not even made 5 jumps before I was contacted by Qrell of White Core. White Core is made up by elements of my former corporation FM-C and led by Large Shadow who helped me get my stuff out of stain when I left FM-C.

Qrell offered me employment on the spot but for some reason I was hessitant. The idea of joining as large an alliance as White Core for some reason did not appeal to me. On the other hand I would love to fly with Qrell again.

For the moment I am looking around and talking to old and new friends to see what stirs. Maybe call up Ombey to hear what he is up to. Its time to top off the tank and head into space…

New patch is comming out !

SET A LOOOONG SKILL !!!

Details below…

CRITICAL

  • We are changing the way the patcher behaves. Previously, if the patcher encountered locked files while patching it would suggest that you reboot to complete the patching (but allow you to cancel the reboot, in case you wanted to do something else before rebooting). Now it insists on a reboot before you continue. People will still have the option to close other programs before pressing the OK button to start the reboot. There were problems with locked files, reboot requests and Vista. That has now been fixed and should work normally on both XP and Vista.
  • The client will now check files and folders before starting the patching process. Previously, if it found extra files it would automatically move them to a temporary folder before continuing. Now it will suggest rebooting to complete patching (because these might be patch files for a pending reboot) or suggest that you should manually remove the extra files.

CHANGES

Need for Speed

  • In our continuing efforts to improve fleet fights, we have made various improvements that have resulted in a much better overall performance. CCP Atlas details these changes in The EVE Client – A Love Story.
  • We have made various performance improvements to UI rendering in the graphics engine.
  • Turrets and turret effects now work in the same way for both the Classic and Premium clients. A turret is no longer loaded into a scene unless it is either fired at you or you are “looking at” the owner’s ship. Now, iff you disable turret effects you will only see the turret models of your own ship or any ship that you are explicitly look at. This reduces the loading time of scenes with a large number of turret ships substantially and increases the framerate per second on such scenes dramatically in Premium but has no effect on the Classic client. If you disable turrets, any turret model that is already in the scene will continue to be there. However, warping away and back again will clean out turret models.
  • Sentry gun turrets will also behave in the same manner as ship turrets. They will not appear unless you are looking at them or unless they are firing on you.
  • Drone models can now be disabled. Disabling the models has an incredible impact in loading up heavy scenes on both the Classic and Premium clients. The impact on the framerate per second once the scene is loaded will only be measurable if your camera is zoomed in far enough for the drones to resolve into models. When drone models are set to disabled then the turrets are automatically also set to disabled.
  • You can now disable camera shaking which both disables camera shake when missiles hit and when you’re in warp.
  • You can now disable ship explosions. Ship explosions had the ability to add heavy load in major fleet engagements and can now be completely turned off.
  • Tactical notifications can now be disabled. Warp scrambling messages and self destruct are two examples of these notifications. Please note that these notifications will still display if it is your ship which is being affected.
  • We have added a new option called “Hide all brackets” which is the inverse of the existing “Show all brackets” and will function in the same way. The two options are mutually exclusive so activating one will disable the other. This is a new and easier way to disable brackets.

Graphics General

  • We discovered that certain memory re-allocation behavior gave bad performance on Windows XP. We switched from regular memory heaps to low fragmentation heaps, which gave a tremendous boost to model loading on Windows XP. This change had no effect on Windows Vista, but the behavior on Vista both before and after is much better than on XP.
  • Bracket loading in heavy scenes has been substantially improved.

FIXES

Graphics General

  • A memory leak has been identified and fixed resulting in a much smoother performance overall.
  • Under certain conditions the graphics engine would find objects that did not exist in the scene anymore. This has now been fixed and will no longer result in performance degradation.
  • Found and fixed an issue where the graphics engine DLL could not be loaded on certain older hardware

Miscellaneous

  • An error will no longer be generated when jumping between two clones which both have implants.

Exploit Fixes

  • Several exploits have been fixed making New Eden a better place for everyone.

Leaving the Venal station in Y-4 behind in our carriers, we ventured into the low security lawlessness of the Placid region.

Its a strange feeling to roam the space lanes looking for prey. But never the less I assumed patrol duty much like I had in my mercenary days. The new ships of choice were the small nifty assault frigates who for some time has been frowned upon, but recent changes to the design has made them very viable fighters.

After some days of patrolling and running into a new phenomenon called sentry towers I was lonely.

My new corp and alliance were active mostly when I had to power down my ship and when I saw my chance for some fighting it was a long roam they were about to set out on.

I was disillusioned, when the opportunity offered it self. Minmatar Mafia was moving out in my old region Geminate and I at once offered to clone jump to Geminate and head out in one of the ships I still had located in the area.

Much to my surprise I got told off. Pin Wang of Minmatar Mafia informed me that he did not fly with new inexperienced guys. I admit that I am not as experienced on small scale fleet combat as Minmatar Mafia that work as a tight knit unit, but one have to start somewhere. The place to start was obviously not in Minmatar Mafia. For a while I sat as physically hit, waiting for InSession to tell this pilot to stand down and treat a fellow alliance mate fairly or even straight out ask me to join in the roam.

I sat in my Taranis some 6-8 jumps from the Minmatar gang and felt the darkness move in.

Ive never felt betrayed before but for the first time in my life I did.

I told Pin to put his head where a sun never shines and headed back to empire. I quickly docked and just told the hangar crew to undock me in my emergency pod.

I warped to a nearby sun and considered my options while staring at the hypnoticing effect of sun flaes exploding into space.

Ill be damned I thought and decided that such an event would not send me running but to be frank the event nagged me as I headed back for Placid.

Arriving at the gate of the region I stared at the sun reflecting in the armor plates.

For a few more days I have lingered but frequently stop by the gate to behold it. It tells the story of a promised land. I shall hang by it for a few days to see what it tells me. I think it tells me that my future lies in the horizon.

My crow was in a lazy orbit around the station in the Y-4 solar system that Ore Mongers called home. I had only a few days before seen Ombey undock in Varuna jumping to an unknown destination. I felt left alone for the first few days but made an effort to fit in into the new corporation which by all standards is very different from any previous experience I’ve had in dealing with corporations.

Tobias Sjodin runs Ore Mongers in his own special way.

On a side note, what in space is that for a name? No numbers in the name to give hint to his obvious Caldari ancestors or even a single W, X or Z. What has happened to good old Caldari names like L33T4tlmachineOo32 ??

Anyway the corporation is more of a loose coalition of independent pilots that each have an agenda and then come together to lift common projects from time to time.

Me, being a pack animal, find this very intimidating. I work best in small and medium groups I must admit but have begun to fly out on my very own. I even got a solo kill on a slow covert OP.

General Spaz of the Minmatar Mafia and I also has a run in with a caracal.

I also had to say goodbye to a Manticore.

It was built from what could be found on the Y-4 market and the intention was to kill a hauler or two coming through 6NJ next door to Y-4. It never got that far.

Last night Tobias ordered the slow evacuation from Y-4 and so far it has progressed fine, with minor incursions from the new inhabitants, who are eager to take the space in possession. The reason for relocation is that Black Hand is made up of very few corporations and only Ore Mongers seem satisfied with having a bit of space. I personally don’t care about owning space.

We are moving to a new region that I have no prior knowledge of but both Minmatar Mafia and Ore Mongers leadership seems satisfied with the region and I guess so am I.

I’ve been more or less absent for almost three full weeks due to a Jita incident involving some trade to Motsu and Kakakela. I had to rush to Jita and help the Gallente girl sort out the business. I managed to come out on top and could pay up front for a Falcon, 2 x Ishtars, 2 x Taranis, 1 x Manticore, 1 x Buzzard, 1 x Hurricane and 1 x Cerberus. I have very high hopes for the Cerberus while I assume I will lose an Ishtar or maybe even both before I can fly that to any good degree. The Falcon I feel fairly confident in and the Hurricane I don’t know what to expect of after most weapons systems have been overhauled.

I hope to be way more active in the comming weeks and also keep the Captains log updated.

Also I may have to rework the intercom design as I am no longer a mercenary by the very definition.
