The pictures: Walking in stations

It is nothing short of amazing. I am however not sure this is where EvE should be heading.

The avatars will take a great deal of the focus from the actual spaceship game. Also there is a lot of sexual undertones that is part of the EvE universe, but I don’t think it should be played out. At least not that explicit. I believe we will see a lot of new “players” that like to play “Dress up EvE”.

Basically it is the same that Second Life suffered from. It went from a meeting platform where you could walk around and enjoy a chat to a place where people in anonymity could live out their fantasies. Probably a great business but not one I condone.

CCP will have to do a delicate dance to make this work, not just from a graphical perspective but from a “this is a game, not a dress up club” perspective as well.

When all that is said, who else want to see some more of the girls turn around ?

- I sure do, but on the other hand, where does that take me and make me ?

- Is the innocence of gaming over ?
